There are a multitude of spiritual helps to be found here After the loss of my mother/best friend in 9/2000 I thought I would die from the anguish I felt. My chest physically hurt for months afterwards. I thought surely I would die from the grief of losing her. I had no where to turn except to God and the information presented in the following link.

You can find God in your Bible or contact me and I will direct you to verses in scripture which held my sanity in check ad helped me to deal with the loss of the finest mother God ever put on the earth ( I may be a touch biased). How to deal with grief and loss I came back from combat a miserble wreck. The things we had seen and experienced had tramatized me, but I was unaware of what it was doing to me. It was not until after I lost my Mom that I was diagnosed with accute PTSD.

You don't have to be a military vet to have PTSD. Any extreme trauma, at the right time can cause it to varying degrees. There is help and no shame in saying you need help. Not getting help CAN ruin the rest of your life. It ruined 17 years of mine. It is gut wrenching for me to have to wait it out with her. But we are getting educated in how to combat this, it is a winnable fight.

You can let it get worse and worse, which t will, or there is much both you and your loved on can do. Start by getting educated. The following link is a good start, then keep looking!

They may need professional help, in that case they will need you for support and reassurance that your love is there to help carry them through Panic amd anxiety attacks are a serious matter More on panic attacks - best I've found so far
